Pumpkin Gnocchi

Because I’m pretty new at this I am still trying to get the hang of things. Let me tell you that many times things don’t go as planned. On one hand there’s my timetable for which recipe I’ll be sharing each week and on the other hand there’s reality!! Sometimes recipes need more tweaking than I had expected so off course I can’t share them right away, or the photos were not very good, so again no sharing. So far it’s been trial and error over here.
The photography part of the equation is very important to me and that’s why I’m bettering myself at this craft. Taking online courses, practicing, getting to know my camera and the basic photography principles, understanding light. So much I have learnt ever since I started this blog only a few months ago! And still I have to much more to learn. And I’m loving it. Enjoying the process of things that’s the key to this life I discovered.

I’m exited. Hosting dinners more regularly each week means I get to create new recipes more often. And I love this. I love cooking for others. I love seeing the look on their faces while they are having their first bites. It says a lot, if not everything. I love how nervous it makes me feel, a good kind of nervous. The anticipation. Ahhh...
And when they smile, oh the smile... That is what I look for. Every time. Every dinner. Every new dish I serve.

Mint, Peas & Ricotta Tortellini

I moved back to Paris in April. It has been the best time. The summer was incredible, the food here is insane, I was only gone for six months and yet I missed so much.
New cafés opened here and there, new brunch paces came to life, new restaurants. It never gets boring on the food front in this city.
But the best part of coming back was that I started doing something new and rather different myself. I have been hosting dinner parties at my apartment since the end of June. Through a website called "EatWith" people from all over the world have sat at my dining table, have shared their stories with us and we with them. All while we share a meal prepared by yours truly.
